| About
the Show |
| A
very warm welcome to the gallery's winter exhibition. |
| We're
very pleased to welcome Jonathan Shearer to this exhibition. His paintings
are concerned with trying to convey the sensation of being immersed in
the landscape, the wind in your face, the soft bogginess of the moor beneath
your feet, the clouds enveloping the mountain - the sheer exhilaration
of wild places as seen in his piece Buachaille
Etive Beag. |
| Jonathan's
work is being displayed alongside gallery favourites Hugh Kirkwood, Robert
Newton, Cara Mckinnon Crawford and Jennifer Robson. Jennifer is currently
working on a new body of work. She is particularly interested in the medium
of drawing, and her subject matter has broadened to include animals as
seen with Harbinger produced in graphite
on paper. |
